Loved the history of the cottage and its location. The garden was a delightful spot to relax; shame it came with a bonus of dog hair and stench from the previous guests.

Oh, just a small detail - finding black dog hair in every nook and cranny didn't quite complement my meals. But hey, they made an effort to clean it, right?

I always go back to Bay Cottage. Great staff, they once helped me return my forgotten jewellery. Has everything I need—Wi-Fi, parking, kitchen, TV. Can't wait to come back for Christmas!

We had a fantastic stay at Bay Cottage in Thorpeness. The location was perfect, with easy access to The Meare, Country Club, Golf Club, and the beach. The cottage itself exceeded our expectations - it was much bigger than it appeared from the outside. The bedrooms were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen and bathroom were modern and well-equipped. We particularly loved the patio doors leading to the garden, where we enjoyed sitting at the outdoor tables and chairs. The cottage was beautifully decorated and furnished, creating a welcoming and homely atmosphere. The ample parking and sensor-controlled outdoor lights were nice touches. we highly recommend this hotel for a delightful and enjoyable break.

While the three-night stay during Regatta week was a bit expensive, it was understandable given the timing. We did encounter a momentary smell of a previous visitor's dog, and some black dog hair was found around the cottage, but efforts had clearly been made to clean and resolve the issue.

We got great value for our money with a beautifully furnished and well-equipped cottage that exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, with easy access to the village, the beach, and local amenities. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making our stay even better.

This place was absolutely mind-blowing! The location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from all the cool spots like the beach, golf course, and country club. The cottage itself was deceivingly spacious and had all the modern amenities you could dream of - wi-fi, flat-screen TV, an electric kettle for those much-needed cuppas, and a fully-equipped kitchen with cookware and utensils. The bedrooms were like fluffy clouds, the bathroom was spotless, and the living/dining room had patio doors that opened up to a jaw-dropping garden with two outdoor dining areas. Plus, the ample parking and outdoor lights on sensors were a super cool touch. I can't recommend this place enough, and they even let us bring our pets along! Definitely coming back here next time, no doubt.

The room at Bay Cottage was cozy and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The comfy bed and soft pillows provided a great night's sleep after a long day exploring. The bathroom, with its refreshing shower, was just what I needed to start my day feeling fresh and energized. As a laid-back guest, this room perfectly suited my relaxed vibe.

The only thing I didn't fancy was having just one bathroom. But hey, that's just my personal take.
